In their appeal, they express an urgent request to take measures to resolve the situation in the Nogai District where the conflict arose on the basis of the election of the head for the Nogai district administration.

Today, the appeal to Oleg Belaventsev has been sent by e-mail. The appeal was drawn at a meeting of activists held in the village of Terekli-Mekteb on July 5.

"On July 3, in the village of Terekli-Mekteb, a rally was held in front of the building of the district administration against the pressure of the republican authorities on the election of the head of the Nogai District. The rally participants, several hundred people, entered the administration building during the ceremony of introduction of Baimagomed Yarlykapov, the new acting head of the Nogai District, imposed 'from above' by the authorities of Dagestan," state the people who signed the appeal.
