Participants of anticorruption rally detained in Makhachkala

Activist Abdulla Gabibulaev was detained prior to the beginning of an anticorruption rally, and Zagalav Somoev at the end of the rally, eyewitnesses report.

Today, in Makhachkala, an anticorruption rally took place in the 50th Anniversary of Victory Park. It was attended by more than 300 residents of Dagestan.

Abdulla Gabibulaev, a former member of the charity organization "Pure Heart", was detained prior to the rally for putting on a T-shirt with a portrait of Vladimir Putin and an inscription reading: "To be, not to seem to be" on his back. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by eyewitnesses of the activist's detention.

According to eyewitnesses, Zagalav Somoev was detained by the police at the end of the rally for criticizing Abdurashid Magomedov, Dagestani Minister of Internal Affairs.

The "Caucasian Knot" does not yet have any comments from the law enforcement agencies concerning the information about the activists' detention.
