Advocate and prosecutor differ in treating data on Nemtsov's shadowing

In the study at the trial of Boris Nemtsov's murder of details of phone calls of Eskerkhanov, his advocate insisted that the defendant had nothing to do with the phone, with the use of which, according to investigators, the slain politician was shadowed. The prosecutor tried to prove the opposite. The advocate drew attention to the Eskerkhanov's confession that he had a video with Nemtsov in his phone.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 12, the court found that the video from the doorway of the house, where defendants lived, is not admissible evidence. This record was treated by the defence of Zaur Dadaev as confirmation of his alibi. The court has also studied the details of  Eskerkhanov's phone calls and screenshots of surveillance cameras, in one of which, as his defence has explained, Eskerkhanov was depicted with Ruslan Geremeev, and in the other – with Zaur Dadaev.

Vadim Prokhorov, the advocate of the victims, has pointed to the Eskerkhanov's confession that he had in phone a video, made in April 2014, where Boris Nemtsov spoke obscenely about Putin.

"Why was this record in Eskerkhanov's mobile phone, given that all the defendants, as they claimed, were not interested in politics, is not very clear," said the advocate.

Zaurbek Sadakhanov, the advocate of Khamzat Bakhaev, has criticized the court's decision to exclude the video from the doorway of Dadaev's house out of the evidence. According to his version, prior to taking such a decision, the court should have to technically examine the record.
