Ibragim Mazhaev killed today in Grozny - source

Ibragim Mazhaev, an 18-year-old man involved in an attack on policemen, was killed during a special operation held in the Groznyvillage of Andreevskaya Dolina. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement authorities.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ibragim Mazhaev was put on the wanted list after the attack on policemen committed in Grozny in the evening of December 17.

Earlier, a resident of Grozny has reported that 18-year-old Ibragim Mazhaev was killed in the attack on policemen on December 17. Later, a source from the law enforcement authorities has reported that the information on preliminary identification of one of the suspects killed in Grozny as Ibragim Mazhaev was not confirmed and that his name did not appear among the killed suspects.

According to the source from the regional law enforcement authorities, 18-year-old Ibragim Mazhaev has been killed today during the special operation held in the village of Andreevskaya Dolina in Grozny.

"Ibragim Mazhaev, an 18-year-old suspect from the wanted list, has been killed during the special operation. Relatives have identified the body of Ibragim Mazhaev," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by the source from the law enforcement authorities.
