Bodies of all missing paratroopers found in Krasnodar Territory

The search operation in the Kuban River is over; today, the bodies of two other paratroopers, who perished during exercises, were found.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 24, in the Temryuk District of the Krasnodar Territory, three paratroopers, who performed their training parachute jumps, made unsuccessful landing into the Kuban River and disappeared. A large-scale search operation was organized in the area; and on November 25, the body of one of them was found.

The search ended today at about 11:00 a.m., when the bodies of two other missing soldiers were found in the river, the "Interfax" reports, citing a military source from Southern Russia.

The death of three paratroopers was officially confirmed by the press service of the Southern Military District. A commission of the Airborne Forces, and law enforcers are working in place trying to establish all the circumstances of the accident. According to preliminary version, low clouds were in place during the jumps; and the paratroopers failed to disconnect their parachute systems in time, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
