In Makhachkala, 175 city residents still stay in hospitals after poisoning
In Makhachkala, after the mass poisoning, 175 patients, including 106 children, still receive medical treatment at the city hospitals. This was reported by a source from the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) for Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 11, according to the Dagestani Ministry for Public Health, 176 people still stayed at the hospitals of Makhachkala, given that since the morning of the same day, 41 people were discharged from the hospitals.
In Makhachkala, the mass poisoning of water occurred after on October 27, city residents reported about supply of dirty water to their houses on completion of the works at the Miatli Hydro Power Plant (HPP). Officials of the "Rospotrebnadzor" (Russian Federal Service for Consumer Supervision) announced they would require the complete liquidation of the "Makhachkalavodokanal" as the main culprit of the incident.
It should be noted that starting from November 4, the mass vaccination was carried out in the capital of Dagestan. As of November 10, more than 39,000 people were vaccinated. On November 11, all vaccination activities in Makhachkala were completed, reported the Dagestani Ministry for Public Health.
