Law enforcers identify Nazran resident among people leaving to fight for IS

Field investigators have found out that a 33-year-old resident of Nazran is involved in the combat actions on the side of the Syrian militants. At present, he faces up to 15 years of imprisonment at home, reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Ingushetia. In total, according to the Ingush authorities, up to 20 natives of Ingushetia are involved in combat actions as members of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia.

The 33-year-old resident of Nazran is involved in the combat actions in Syria since January 2014.

On October 17, Ingush leader Yunus-Bek Evkurov reported that in total, 87 natives of Ingushetia left for Syria to take part in hostilities, and many of them were killed. At present, about 20 Ingush natives are involved in the combat actions in Syria.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in September, it was reported that in Ingushetia, a 23-year-old man was involved in a criminal case on the charge of recruiting his friend to join the IS.
