Whereabouts of human rights defender Svetlana Isaeva revealed

Svetlana Isaeva, the leader of the organization "Mothers of Dagestan for Human Rights", who stopped answering calls to her mobile phone on her way to the Rostov Region, has contacted her colleagues. At present, she is in Rostov-on-Don. This was reported by Yuri Blokhin, Deputy Chairman of the Public Oversight Commission (POC) for the Rostov Region.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 4, Svetlana Isaeva was detained on the border of Dagestan and the Stavropol Territory at the federal checkpoint "Zaterechny". According to the human rights defender, she was released after verification. On October 5, Svetlana Isaeva stopped answering calls to her mobile phone.

According to Yuri Blokhin, "Svetlana Isaeva is all right."

Let us remind you that on May 31, Svetlana Isaeva was detained in the Stavropol Territory. According to the human rights defender, her detention was caused by the fact that in 2013, she had been included in the wanted list by the Centre to Combat Extremism of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
