In Makhachkala, six relatives of disappeared Dagestani residents detained

In Makhachkala, the police detained six relatives of the residents of Dagestan who disappeared on September 27. The detainees were brought to the ROVD (District Interior Division) for the Soviet District of Makhachkala. This was reported by the wife of disappeared Shamil Djamalutdinov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, relatives of disappeared Gashim Uzdanov, Pakhrudin Makhaev, Islam Magomedov, and Shamil Djamalutdinov have gathered in the centre of Makhachkala and accused the authorities of failure to fulfil their promises. The protesters made an attempt to break through to the building of the government.

According to Islamova, relatives of the disappeared men were detained after the talk to Ramazan Jafarov, Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan, and brought to the ROVD for the Soviet District of Makhachkala. The police claim that the relatives of the disappeared men "are detained for mass disorders."

Let us remind you that on October 5, at the protest action held in the central square of Makhachkala, about 60 people demanded from the authorities to provide information on the whereabouts of their relatives.
