Farmer's suicide in Kuban not connected with raiders' seizures, investigators assert

Nikolai Gorban, the director of Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) "Kolos" in the Timashyovsk District of the Krasnodar Territory, who committed suicide, had no relation to the "tractor marches" of farmers, and his death was not related to raiders' seizures. This was reported by an official from the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in hi suicide note, Nikolai Gorban, a participant of the "tractor march" from the Timashyovsk District, blamed the owner of a large agricultural company in his death. This was reported by Alexei Volchenko, the leader of the farmers' movement.

In recent time, Nikolai Gorban experienced difficulties in running his agricultural business. He wanted to sell his land plot, but found no buyers. Besides, the man had problem with his family members, the "Yugopolis" reports with reference to a source.

During the past four years, farmers of the Krasnodar Territory regularly reported the problems with raiders' seizures of land plots.
