Sixth Russian officer dies after road accident in South Ossetia

The number of victims of the road accident involving a bus with Russian officers has reached 22 people. Of them, six were killed, and 16 others stay in hospitals. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, a bus of the Russian military base in South Ossetia turned over while on route from Tskhinvali to Leningor. In total, 24 people were inside the bus.

The bus was moving in a motor convoy and was transporting officers to the place of mission, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to the Russian MoD.

An aircraft with military physicians was sent to the region from the Moscow Region to help the victims, the "Interfax" reports.
