Circassian activist Khuade suspected of bribing

The family of the Circassian activist Adnan Khuade has received a notification from the Investigating Department (ID) Adygea of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) about a start of inquiry into the criminal case.

The information about the detention on May 5 of Adnan Khuade arrived at the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot". On May 11, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Adygea reported that Khuade was sentenced to a 15-day administrative arrest for driving a car without a license.

The initiation of a case about bribing has to do with Khuade's public activities, said Ali Bgane, a member of the Maikop public organization "Adyge Khase-Circassian Council".

"The prosecution of Adnan is associated exclusively with his activities and position on the 'Circassian issue'," said Bgane.

Earlier, representatives of the Circassian communities of Russia, Turkey, Germany, USA, Israel and Jordan, members of the Coordinating Council of Circassian activists, had also stated that the detention of Khuade has to do with his public activities.

Let us note here that Adnan Khuade is an immigrant from Turkey; he lives in Maikop and is engaged in entrepreneurial activities.

Let us remind you that on December 17, 2015, Adnan Khuade, his daughter and their helper were arrested for 15 days after their conflict with the FSB in Adygea.
