Owner of car blown up in Nazran established

The car blown up near the mosque in Nasyr-Kort belonged to a native of Dagestan, but in recent time it was used by proxy by another person, said a law enforcement source from Ingushetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 11 outside the mosque in Nasyr-Kort, an explosion was triggered injuring four people. Eyewitnesses state that it was an attempt on Imam Khamzat Chumakov.

According to the law enforcement source, the owner of the blown up VAZ-2107 has been identified.

"The owner of this car by documents is a resident of Dagestan, who lives in the Stavropol Territory, but in fact the car was owned and used by a resident of Chechnya," the TASS quotes the source as saying. According to his story, the police are searching for that latter person.

Another law enforcement source from Ingushetia said that the health condition of the 55-year-old local resident, wounded by the blast, remains grave but stable, the "Interfax" reports.
