Rostov resident sentenced to freedom restriction for false report about terror act
In Rostov-on-Don, the court has sentenced to freedom restriction a local resident, who was found guilty of false report about a bomb in a hypermarket.
"The court has found out that early in the morning of April 4, the defendant called from his mobile phone on duty operators at 02 and 112 and reported them the knowingly false information about a bomb in the 'Okay' hypermarket located in No. 24 'a' in Komarov Boulevard in Rostov-on-Don," announces the report posted on the website of the Rostov Regional Prosecutor's Office on May 13.
According to the court's verdict, Denis Makarov was found guilty and sentenced to one year of restriction on freedom. He is not allowed to leave the city of Rostov, change place of residence and job without the consent of the supervising authority. Meanwhile, Denis Makarov is to visit the penitentiary inspection twice a month, the press service of the Rostov Regional Prosecutor's Office reports.
