Experts challenge Kadyrov's version of Nemtsov's murder
The Ramzan Kadyrov's statements about the reasons for the detention of persons suspected of the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov and their possible motives are not true. This opinion has been expressed by experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondents. Meanwhile, the experts believe the very detentions will cause a "serious reputational damage to the leader of Chechnya."
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that as of March 9, five persons were detained in the case on the Boris Nemtsov's murder. On March 8, the Basmanny Court of Moscow announced the decision to arrest Zaur Dadaev and Anzor Gubashev till April 28.
The dismissal of the figurants of the case on the Boris Nemtsov's murder from the battalion "Sever" (North) has led to the fact that Ramzan Kadyrov "had to justify them." This was stated by Alexei Malashenko, a member of the Scientific Council of the Moscow Carnegie Centre.
The expert has also reacted sceptically to the Ramzan Kadyrov's statement that the reasons for the dismissal of Zaur Dadaev will be carefully examined.
According to political analyst Geidar Djemal, the Chairman of the Islamic Committee of Russia, the dismissal of Dadaev and Shavanov was a "premeditated step." The political analyst excludes the possibility that the fighters of the special battalion "Sever" acted "on their own convictions and wanted to take revenge on Boris Nemtsov for his statements."
If the Boris Nemtsov's murder was related to his position concerning the murder of staff members of the magazine "Charlie Hebdo", then, no one ordered to assassinate the politician. This was suggested by Alexei Malashenko, a member of the Scientific Council of the Moscow Carnegie Centre. According to the expert, the murder of Boris Nemtsov more resembles "disorderly conduct" rather than "revenge for the prophet."
