School and kindergarten are closed in Vremenny blocked by power agents (+video)

The settlement of Vremenny, Untsukul District of Dagestan, is still cordoned off by power agents and militaries, said a local woman. According to her story, the school and the kindergarten remain closed, while all the male villagers were taken out for identification.

"The settlement is full of ATCs (Armoured Troop Carriers) and Ural trucks with servicemen; so far, there is no shooting," she told today the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Officially, Vremenny is not under curfew; however, in fact, after 9 in the evening the movement within the settlement is restricted, she said.

According to her story, during the week houses of local residents are searched; militaries enter any house or apartment, and use abandoned houses for stopping for the night.

Earlier, a Dagestani law enforcement source said that the Gimry Tunnel that links villages with Buynaksk and Makhachkala and which closed with the start of the special operation, will be opened after its completion. "Until the end of the week, the tunnel may be opened," he said.

The counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the Untsukul District back on March 8; and no data that it was lifted was reported. On July 6, power agents again reported about the introduction of the CTO regime and blocked the villages of Zirani, Balakhani and Maidanskoe.
