Moscow Mayoralty refuses to sanction rally against Caucasophobia

This was reported by Abakar Abakarov, one of the organizers of the event.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that an application on holding a rally in Moscow against Caucasophobia, scheduled for January 26, was lodged to the Mayoralty on January 13. The organizers planned to express protest against the anti-Caucasian sentiments in the media and raise the issue of opposing the construction of mosques. The action was positioned as the first joint rally against xenophobia.

The reasons for refusal and future actions of the organizers will be announced at a press conference to be held on January 17 by the organizing committee, Abakarov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
