Dagestani Ministry wants to buy car for 5 million roubles
The website of state procurement published a bid of the Ministry of National Policy, Religious Affairs and External Relations of Dagestan for purchasing an Audi car, worth for 5 million roubles, for the needs of the Republic's Permanent Mission under the Russian President.
According to the Ministry's bid, an Audi A8 D4 LWB Tip quattro 4.0 TFSI car is to be purchased "for the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Dagestan under Russian President to service officials and delegations."
The starting price of the car to be delivered to Moscow by the end of the year is 4,998,600 roubles. The electronic auction is scheduled for December 19. Officials from the Department of Information Management and Public Relations of the Dagestani Ministry of National Policy refused to comment on the bid with reference to the absence of a responsible person.
The bid for the purchase of an expensive car for the Dagestani Permanent Mission caused the reaction in the blogosphere.
