Criminal case against five persons, accused of organizing terror act in Vladikavkaz, brought to court

The criminal case against five members of the grouping, suspected of organizing the terror act in the Central Market in Vladikavkaz in September 2010, sent to court.

On September 9, a suicide bomber in a Volga car activated a powerful improvised explosive device at the entrance to the Central Market in Vladikavkaz. Apart from the suicide bomber, the terror act killed 19 persons: 14 of them died in the place, and 5 more persons died later. At least eight residents of Ingushetia were detained on suspicion of preparing the terror act in Vladikavkaz. In June 2011, two suspected organizers of the explosion in the market in Vladikavkaz surrendered.

The Chief Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) in the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) has completed the investigation into the criminal case against Issa Khashagulgov, Khizar Daurbekov, Mikail Khashagulgov, Magomed Daurbekov, and Yusup Dzangiev.

According to investigators, in 2007-2010, the defendants became members of the grouping "Vilayat Galgaiche", which members were involved in the commitment of the terror act in the Central Market of Vladikavkaz in September 2010. The investigators believe that Issa Khashagulgov was the leader of one of the structural divisions of the grouping, the ICRF's website reports.

Till present, no comments of the defendants in connection with the ICRF's reports are available.
