A boy from a family group in Volgograd taken to hospital with traumas recovered consciousness
On March, 7, a six-years-old boy taken to resuscitation unit two weeks before emerged out of a coma. According to the investigators, he was beaten up by a teacher of a family group.
According to the investigation’s data, the teacher saw one of her pupils take sweets without permission and when he tried to deny the fact she beat him up.
The physicians diagnosed a cerebral injury, intracranial hematoma and a grave brain contusion.
On February, 22, the injured boy was delivered to district hospital of Kotovo in an extremely grave state which improved a little after surgical treatment. The boy could already respond to a touch and tried to open his eyes. Several days later he was moved to hospital No 7 of Volgograd.
On March, 7, the news came that the boy emerged out of a coma and recovered consciousness. However, he is still uncommunicative and it is impossible to talk to him and find out the details of the incident, V1.ru reports.
According to the local investigator, the woman who beat up the boy called for an ambulance herself.
“The woman struck him with her hands several times and then started beating his head against the floor. She came to senses only when she saw that the boy fainted. She started massaging him with snow and then called for an ambulance”, “Pervaya Gazeta” quotes senior investigator of Kotovo investigative department.
The court arrested the teacher suspected of beating the boy. The teacher or her attorneys’ position is unknown yet.
