In Vilnius, trial on case against Egle Kusaite reads testimony of prosecution's witness

Today, the Vilnius Regional Court, which considers the case against Egle Kusaite, accused of terrorism, announced the testimony of the Russian citizen Hasan Arsigiraev. According to the witness for the prosecution, Egle Kusaite wished to become a member of jihad, the holy war.

"She was crazy about the holy war, and she wanted to become its participant, she sympathized with militants. From Apti I have learned that she could not come, since she had been detained," states the testimony of Hasan Arsigiraev recorded by the Russian FSB.

Egle Kusaite requested to re-call Hasan Arsigiraev; however, the Court dismissed that request. The next court session is appointed for March 21, the agency "Delfi" reports.

Egle Kusaite has noted that the witness Hasan Arsigiraev is a Chechen and that he was a witness in the case against Magmadov family, the agency "BNS" reports.
