Dagestani bloggers report on violations at voting during Russian presidential election

In their blogs on the Internet, Dagestani residents report on violations in the course of the voting during the Russian presidential election held on March 4. Among those violations, they mention voting of the same persons at different electoral precincts; besides, some Dagestani residents report that their votes had not been counted at the voting.

Too small number of people came to the voting, and "for that reason, 'carousels' were launched". This was written by the blogger Zakir Magomedov in his Internet-diary on the "Livejournal".

Gurizada Kamalova, the journalist and the blogger, suggests in her "Livejournal" that at her electoral precinct No. 1147 in Makhachkala, young people not living there voted.

"For some reason, the chairman of the electoral commission did not like my brother and me, and he began to demand that the police officers to force us out, and they responded that there was no reason to force us out. Then, we faced the heavy artillery representatives of the information department of the Makhachkala city administration. They forced me and my brother to different room and started to ask us who we were and where we came from. We honestly answered that we were the observers from the "Novaya Gazeta" and that we would be simply observing in accordance with the law. However, they did not believe us," Gurizada Kamalova writes.

The blogger with the nickname darkhorse says that her vote and votes of her three children for Mikhail Prokhorov have not been counted.

"We four came to the electoral precinct and enthusiastically voted. For Prokhorov! All four of us! How many ballots should be for that candidate at the counting of votes? Well, the number should be at least four, shouldn't it? At home, during the day, I periodically watched the broadcast at the website webvybory2012.ru. At about 0:00 a.m., the counting was finished, and the chairperson officially declared the results. Well, we had no doubt that the Prime Minister would gain the most percentage of votes; however, when the chairperson reported that Prokhorov gained zero votes, we were stunned!" the woman writes.

The blogger with the nickname magomed-troll writes in his "Livejournal" that he and his friends either voted for Mikhail Prokhorov or did not go to vote: "All career-minded persons and state employees voted for Putin, I and my friends, businessmen, journalists and creative intellectuals either voted for Prokhorov or did not go to vote. The society is similarly divided, like in many other parts of the country. There is nothing supernatural."
