In two SFD regions Gennady Zyuganov wins more votes at presidential election than country's average

According to the results of processing of nearly 100 percent of the ballots in the Southern Federal District (SFD), Vladimir Putin is in the lead at the election of Russian President. He has won the highest percentage of 70.24 of the votes – in Kalmykia. Gennady Zyuganov has shown the best result in Adygea and the Rostov Region, where more than 20 percent of voters had cast their ballots for him.

In the Volgograd Region, according to the results of processing of 100 percent of the ballots, Vladimir Putin has won the presidential election in Russia with the outcome of 63.41 percent, Gennady Zyuganov got 18.85 percent, Vladimir Zhirinovsky – 6.86 percent, Mikhail Prokhorov – 5.56 percent, and Sergey Mironov – 4.33 percent of the votes. This was reported by the Regional Election Commission.

In the Astrakhan Region, also 100 percent of the ballots have been processed; there, Vladimir Putin has won 68.75 percent of the votes. The second place went to Gennady Zyuganov – 15.65 percent, the third place to Vladimir Zhirinovsky with 5.07 percent. Mikhail Prokhorov and Sergey Mironov gained 5.05 percent and 4.30 percent, respectively, the agency "Interfax-Yug" quotes the Regional Election Commission as reporting.

In Adygea, according to the results of processing of 100 percent of the ballots, Vladimir Putin has won 64.07 percent of the votes. The second place in the republic went to Gennady Zyuganov, who gained 20.55 percent of the votes. The third place went to Mikhail Prokhorov with 5.96 percent. Vladimir Zhirinovsky has won 5.06 percent of votes, and Sergey Mironov – 3.01 percent, the RIA "Novosti" quotes the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Adygea as reporting.

In Kalmykia, according to the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation (CEC RF) by 9:39 a.m. Moscow time, Vladimir Putin has won 70.24 percent, Gennady Zyuganov – 17.54 percent, Vladimir Zhirinovsky – 2.54 percent, Sergey Mironov – 2.69 percent, and Mikhail Prokhorov – 6.05 percent.

In the Krasnodar Territory, according to the CEC RF by 9:39 a.m. Moscow time, Vladimir Putin has won 63.75 percent, Gennady Zyuganov – 18.50 percent, Vladimir Zhirinovsky – 6.58 percent, Sergey Mironov – 3.31 percent, and Mikhail Prokhorov – 6.63 percent.

In the Rostov Region, according to the CEC RF by 9:39 a.m. Moscow time, Vladimir Putin has won 62.68 percent, Gennady Zyuganov – 20.06 percent, Vladimir Zhirinovsky – 6.27 percent, Sergey Mironov – 3.62 percent, and Mikhail Prokhorov – 6.34 percent.

According to the same information of the CEC RF, by 9:39 a.m. Moscow time, the voting outcomes over the entire territory of the Russian Federation were as follows: Vladimir Putin has won 64.05 percent of all the votes, Gennady Zyuganov – 17.15 percent, Vladimir Zhirinovsky – 6.24 percent, Sergey Mironov – 3.82 percent, and Mikhail Prokhorov – 7.60 percent.
