Four persons were injured by fire on tanker at Makhachkala port, one of them deceased
The fire on the tanker "Engineer Nazarov" in the water areas of Makhachkala injured four persons, one of whom died. This was reported by the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on the daylight of February 28, the deck superstructure of the tanker "Engineer Nazarov", located at the roadstead of the sea port of Makhachkala in the Caspian Sea, was inflamed. Three crew members were evacuated, and one person was put into the list of missing people. The fire was localized at 6:50 p.m., and after that the fire was extinguished.
According to the latest reports of the Dagestani MfE, in the course of the incident that took place in the water areas of Makhachkala, one person deceased and three other persons got mild poisoned by combustion products.
The victims are on the board the towed boat "Favourite" and do not need hospitalization.
The crew of the "Engineer Nazarov" consists of 14 persons. The tanker with a tonnage of 5000 tons delivered black oil fuel from Turkmenistan, got unloaded and stood on the roadstead at the sea port of Makhachkala.
