In Astrakhan, guardianship bodies cancel release of Vera Drobinskaya from caring over seven children-invalids
Guardianship authorities have cancelled their orders on temporary release of Vera Drobinskaya, a resident of the city of Astrakhan, from her duties as a guardian of seven children with disabilities. The cancellation was announced, when representatives of various organizations and institutions, including the Ombudsperson for Children of the Russian Federation, expressed their support to the guardian. Like earlier, the children remain with Vera Drobinskaya.
Vera Drobinskaya said that on January 30, about 6:00 p.m., she was presented orders dated January 27 about cancellation of the orders for her temporary release from the guardian's duties.
"The violations that they 'had revealed', relate to the fact that I refused to register several children at the mental hospital and did not presented the children to the medical and pedagogical commission, refusing to transfer them to training for the mentally backward children. The prescription mentions no indication of ill-treatment, which served as a cause for arrival and attempts to take the children away," Vera Drobinskaya told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
However, the claim for the return of minor children under the guardianship of state bodies filed by the State Communal Institution Joint-Stock Company (SCI JSC) "Centre of Social Support to Population of the Trusov District of Astrakhan" is still at the Trusov District Court of Astrakhan.
