In Moscow, about 20 persons came to flash mob in support of Lermontov residents
In Moscow, near the "Krasnye Vorota" metro station, a flash mob was staged in support of residents of the city of Lermontov, Stavropol Territory, where on February 21 several former city council members and their supporters went on hunger strike right in the building of the Mayoralty.
Moscow Internet users urged Muscovites to come to the monument of Lermontov with flowers. "What is happening now in the city, named after the poet, is certainly a meaningful event. Dozens, hundreds of Russian cities are ready to explode against Putin's lawlessness. Muscovites are just obliged to express their attitude to what is happening in Lermontov," wrote a bit earlier the user asotnik in the Livejournal group "Community of Russian opposition 'March of Dissent'".
In total, about 20 persons came to the picket, mainly, activists of the movement "For Fair Elections". Also, the event was attended by the poet Sasha Sotnik, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports from the venue.
There were practically no passers-by near the monument to Lermontov. During the action, nobody joined the picketers.
