Dagestani woman reports kidnapping of her husband
In the village of Gimry, Untsukul District of Dagestan, unidentified persons in camouflage uniform kidnapped a local resident. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Aminat Abdurakhmanova, the wife of the kidnapped person – the 40-year-old Magomed Gamzatov.
"In the morning, we were awakened by a loud knock at the door. When we opened the door, about ten unidentified armed men in camouflage and masks broke into the room. In my opinion, they were OMON (riot police) fighters. They asked my husband if he knew Magomed Suleimanov. He replied in the negative. After that, they ordered him to get dressed and took him away to some unknown place," said Abdurakhmanova.
The woman also said that the kidnappers opened fire into the air, when she tried to talk to her husband. According to her story, her husband worked as a salesman in his own shop; they have three children.
The Untsukul ROVD and the press service of the Dagestani MIA said that they knew nothing about the incident.
