CCRF dismisses complaint of Judge Novikov from Sochi
The Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation (CCRF) has refused to accept for consideration the complaint of Dmitry Novikov, a retired judge from Sochi, who was accused of a number of corruption crimes.
In his complaint to the CCRF, Dmitry Novikov challenged some norms of the legislation about the status of judges, bodies of the judiciary and the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The court dismissed the complaint, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
"The applicant's rights were protected by respective decisions passed by law enforcement bodies; hence, his complaint to the CCRF cannot be found eligible," says the ruling posted on the official website of the CCRF.
So far, there are no comments of Mr Novikov on the decision of the CCRF.
