Karachay-Cherkessia to hold charity action in support of 17-year-old Aslan Khutov
On February 17, in Karachay-Cherkessia, the Drama Theatre of the city of Cherkessk will host a charity concert in support of the 17-year-old Aslan Khutov, who was diagnosed a malignant tumour of the spinal cord. His relatives are raising money, including through social networks.
Aslan Khutov was born in Cherkessk on August 11, 1994. He is the only child of his mother; he grew up an avid boy, planned to learn, work and help his mother, who raised him alone, without a father, Aslan's aunt Svetlana Djendubaeva said.
In the summer of 2011, during his military-field training, Aslan fell awkwardly on his back, received a trauma and spent two weeks in hospital. On December 31, 2011, Aslan Khutov was diagnosed with "a malignant tumour of the spinal cord".
"Experts believe that his trauma triggered the development of the terrible disease. Fortunately, we found radiologists ready to take care of Aslan," said the aunt.
Now Aslan Khutov is being treated at St Petersburg. He is in consciousness, does not lose the spirit and believes that he will conquer the disease. However, he needs expensive treatment.
The disease of the young man did not leave residents of Karachay-Cherkessia indifferent; they render as much help as possible. Everyone who cares about Aslan Khutov can also join the support group.
