A woman wounded during shooting in a store in Rostov region

The police of the town of Kamensk-Shakhtisky, Rostov region, are carrying out search of an armed man who opened fire in a store and wounded a shop assistant.

The incident took place at about 21:40 Moscow time, February, 13, a representative of law enforcement bodies of the town reported.

According to the source, an unknown masked man entered a food store and started threatening the shop assistants. When they tried to turn him out of the store he suddenly opened fire, supposedly, from a shotgun. He wounded one of the women and then escaped from the scene of the crime, "Interfax-Yug" reports.

An "Intercept" operation is presently enacted in the town, the armed man is being searched for. The woman was taken to hospital, "Komsomolskaya Pravda in Rostov-on-Don" reports.
