A serviceman perished in Azerbaijan

On February, 13, lance sergeant of National Army Kyamran Djoshgun oglu Gajiev perished in a military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

The accident took place in a military unit dislocated in the settlement of Sangachal, Garadag district of Baku.

The serviceman born in 1992 perished as a result of shooting into himself from Government-issue weapon, AZE.az referring to Press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reports.

According to preliminary data, the accident was caused by careless weapon handling. Gajiev was called up for active military service by military registration and enlistment office of the town of Gianja. Investigation is in process, IA "Novosti Azerbaijan" reports.
