MCC leaves suspect of "Domodedovo" terror act in custody

The Moscow City Court (MCC) has upheld the extension - till March 4 - of the arrest of Akhmed Evloev, a figurant in the case of the terror act in the Moscow "Domodedovo" Airport, who, according to investigators, is a distant relative of the suicide bomber Magomed Evloev, the press service of the MCC reports.

According to investigators, Akhmed Evloev is a distant relative of Magomed Evloev, who was met in Moscow by brothers Islam and Ilez Yandiev and brought to "Domodedovo", where he committed his terror act. On January 20, the MCC extended Ahmed Evloev's arrest till March 4.

"Today, the appeal instance of the MCC dismissed a complaint of Evloev's defence and upheld the decision to extend his arrest," the RAPSI (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information) quotes the press service of the MCC.
