Alla Djioeva had brain stroke, resuscitators say
The health condition of Alla Djioeva, who was hospitalized in Tskhinvali after her office was visited by power agents, is stably grave; she is still unconscious.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported with reference to supporters of Djioeva that today the OMON (riot police) fighters have stormed the office of the oppositional politician; she lost consciousness after a strong blow of a rifle butt on her head. However, according to Georgiy Kabulov, the acting Public General Prosecutor of South Ossetia, Djioeva felt bad during a conversation with an investigator. Now she is in coma, her office staff asserts; however, doctors fail to confirm the statements of Djioeva's supporters.
According to the doctor-resuscitator on duty at the Republic's Somatic Hospital, where Djioeva was delivered, there are poor chances that the leader of the opposition will come to senses in a short time. Doctors take all the necessary measures to prevent further aggravation of her condition.
"Djioeva was diagnosed brain stroke, and hemiparesis of the left side," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the doctor-resuscitator.
The initial examination conducted by doctors, when Djioeva was hospitalized, revealed no bodily injuries, the IA "Res" reports with reference to Valery Valiev, the head of the MIA of South Ossetia.
Let us remind you that today Vadim Brovtsev, the Acting President of South Ossetia, has treated the statements of Alla Djioeva, who had planned on February 10 to declare herself the President of South Ossetia, as a call to seize the state power by force.
On January 28, Alla Djioeva appointed her inauguration as President for February 10. According to the decision of the Parliament, the repeated election of the President of South Ossetia should take place on March 25.
