Power agents continue searching militants on Chechen-Dagestani border
The operation aimed at finding the grouping of militants, which was detected on February 2 near the Chechen-Dagestani administrative border, has brought no results yet. Power agents do not exclude that the blocked militants could get out of the cordon. The special operation continues.
"The operation aimed at finding and neutralizing the bandit group, which on February 2 entered a gunfight with power agents of Chechnya and Dagestan near the administrative border between the two republics continues. The search is significantly complicated by the high snow covering the area, as well as other weather conditions," a source from Chechen power agents told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
He said the power agents of the two republics continue screening the area, and set ambushed and secrets along possible militants' routes; however, so far, no militants have been detected.
