Woman from Moscow detained in Chechnya on suspicion of preparing terror act

As reported by a source from law enforcement bodies of Chechnya, the police have detained in Grozny a 20-year-old Muscovite, who, according to her story, had planned to get trained as a suicide bomber and subsequently commit a terror act in Moscow.

According to the source, in the evening on February 3, in the Lenin District of Grozny, near one of high-rise buildings, policemen detained a young woman, born in 1992, who lives in the Basmanny District of Moscow.

"Her evidences are somewhat confusing, but the idea is that the detainee has arrived in Grozny to join the ranks of illegal armed formations (IAFs), get trained as a suicide bomber, and then return to Moscow to commit a terror act there," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the source.

"So far, it's difficult to explain her reasons and explain why she has come namely to Grozny; she tells about some woman, who had persuaded her to do so; we're now finding out," said the source.

Currently, investigators are questioning the detainee, trying to clear out the motives and circumstances of her appearance in Grozny with this sort of aim in mind, the "Finam FM" reports.
