Dagestan: child injured by terror act dies in Makhachkala
Today, the 8-year-old Haji Nasrutdinov, who was wounded in a bomb blast in the capital of Dagestan on January 28, has died in the Republic's Clinical Hospital in Makhachkala died.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has learnt at the hospital that the condition of another victim, Timur Bagalov, 11, was treated by doctors as serious but stable.
On January 28 in Makhachkala, an unidentified person threw an F-1 grenade out of his Priora car while driving along Shamil Avenue. In 15 minutes, a few meters from the grenade blast, an explosive device went off in a trash container. The bomb was stuffed with striking elements in the form of chopped 12-mm reinforcement rods and wall plugs.
According to law enforcers, the second explosion with the power of about 9 kilos of TNT equivalent caused injury of the two schoolboys.
Another car - a dark-colour VAZ-2112 - was seen disappearing from the place of the incident. The "Interception" plan was introduced; and policemen managed to stop this car, which was driven by a resident of the Urkarakh village of the Dakhadaev District. His involvement in the bombings is now checked, said a source from the Dagestan's MIA.
