Federal judge beaten in Krasnodar

On January 31, two unidentified persons beat a federal judge in Krasnodar; he was hospitalized. This was reported by the press service of the Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) for the Krasnodar Territory.

The incident occurred at 9:00 a.m. Moscow time in the Western District of the city of Krasnodar.

Sergey Bykov, Judge of the Lenin District Court of Krasnodar, was closing his garage, where he was approached by two men, who knocked him down and began beating him in silence with their hands and feet.

Their actions were stopped by a man, who lived in the same apartment building as the victim; however, the attackers managed to escape, the agency "Interfax-Yug" reports.

At present, the Judge undergoes hospital treatment in one of the medical institutions of the city.

It is known that Sergey Bykov has been working in the Lenin Court for more than 20 years. His colleagues describe him as the competent expert, the "Yugopolis" reports.
