ICRC officials meet Sergeant of Azerbaijani Armed Forces detained in Nagorno-Karabakh again

Officials of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have visited the Azerbaijani prisoner of war kept in Nagorno-Karabakh, Shakhla Gakhramanova, the press secretary of the ICRC office in Azerbaijan, said today.

According to the ICRC, on January 30, the prisoner was given one letter, and a letter was taken from him. The family of the prisoner - Mamedbagir Talyb oglu Akhundzade - was informed about the meeting, the "Trend" reports.

Let us note here that according to the Defence Minister of Armenia Seiran Oganyan, the Azerbaijani Sergeant had voluntarily surrendered to Nagorno-Karabakh militaries because of problems in interpersonal relationships.

"The main reason was in his personal relations in the Azerbaijani Army," said Oganyan.

According to his story, the relevant structures are dealing with the issue, the "News-Armenia" reports.
