KBR: people regarded as law enforcers by militants fall victim to attacks
Killings of power agents, similar to the one committed in the evening on January 26 in a school in Nalchik, took place in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) in the past. As pointed out by law enforcers, the casualties of armed attacks were those regarded by members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) as power agents or their associates.
Let us remind you that in the evening on January 26, in Secondary School No. 19 of Nalchik, men who played volleyball in the school gym were attacked. It turned out that three armed masked attackers put the seven men present in the gym down on the floor, roped them, and then cut the throat of a serviceman who was among them, and fled.
The attackers asked the roped victims about who of them was a military or a law enforcer. An unofficial source from law enforcement bodies said that the casualty - the pilot-navigator Denis Nikolaev - had often come to the school gym in his military uniform.
