The fate of a native of Ingushetia detained in Sochi in September remains unknown
Native of Ingushetia Magomed Akhtemirov was detained by the personnel of law enforcement bodies of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar region, yet on September, 16, 2011, however his location remains unknown as of today, Akhtemirov's relatives state.
According to the relatives, only one and a half months later they got the news that Magomed Akhtemirov born in 1982 disappeared. They carried out their own inquiry as a result of which they found out the circumstances of his detention.
Idris Bakaev, Akhtemirov's uncle, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on the day of detention his nephew came from Turkey to Sochi by plane. He passed control in the airport safely.
"In Sochi Magomed went to the railway station, bought a ticket and took a bus from Sochi to Mineralnyye Vody. There was the chief stationary post on the way where passport control was carried out and nobody preferred any claims to my nephew", Bakaev said.
According to him, the passengers of the bus stated that a patrol car was following the bus from the chief stationary post up to the settlement of Vardane located in Lazarevsky district of Sochi.
"There they stopped the bus and told the driver to open the door for passport control among the passengers, then they put handcuffs on my nephew, took him out to the bus stop and started beating him up. They took his luggage out of the luggage compartment of the bus, took the boy with them and drove in the direction of Sochi", Bakaev said.
According to him, he "made a round of all the instances both in Sochi and Ingushetia". "My nephew has neither a wanted notice nor is he registered on any lists, the authorities have no quarrel with him, still he disappeared. His location is unknown so far and no criminal case was initiated", Bakaev said.
Investigator Evgeny Adlakhov who conducts the case declined comment saying that he was yet unable to produce a substantial comment on it.
