One person killed in incident at school in Nalchik
A man was killed in the attack of unidentified persons on people in secondary school in Nalchik.
Earlier, with reference to a source in the law enforcement bodies of Kabardino-Balkaria, the information was received that in secondary school in Kirov Street in Nalchik, up to seven persons were taken hostages.
According to later information, which is also reported with reference to the source in the law enforcement bodies, tonight seven men played volleyball in a gym in the secondary school, when suddenly two men in masks with guns in their hands burst into the gym. As a result of the attack, one of the volleyball players was killed, the "Interfax" reports.
According to the Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee of Kabardino-Balkaria, the incident occurred in the building of the school No. 19, located in Baisultanov Street in the interval from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. There were three attackers; they wore masks and they were armed with pistols with silencers and a submachine gun.
"The attackers entered the school gym, where seven men were engaged in sports activities at that time. The attackers tied all men and cut a throat of one man. After that, the attackers left the places, the "Life News" quotes the representative of the Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
The republic's law enforcement agencies clarify that the victim was a resident of the city of Nalchik, his identity has not been identified yet; it is known that he looked about 30 years old.
