A man in Dagestan killed one of his abductors and escaped from prison

Two residents of Derbent kidnapped a resident of the same town and were keeping him by force in a cellar of a gym for the purpose of extortion of two million rubles from him. The kidnapped mad managed to escape and he did it by means of killing one of the abductors, the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan reports.

The incident took place on January, 24. In the morning of January, 25, the kidnapped man while one of the abductors was out snatched a gun with a silencer lying on the table and took six shots at one of the abductors who died on-site.

The policemen who arrived at the site of the incident found an air pistol with a wiped off registration number remade for shooting with service cartridges, a traumatic gun, two mobiles, handcuffs, a hunting knife and a Scotch tape.

The policemen of Derbent are currently searching for the participator who escaped. A criminal case was initiated according to points "a" and "g", part 2, clause 123 (illicit incarceration), clause 163 (extortion) and part 2, clause 222 (illegal storage of arms) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, web-site of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan reports.
