Patient suffered in Ingushetia when power agents tried to move Nalgiev to prisoners' ward
Amerkhan Ozdoev, who is taking his treatment at the trauma department of the Republic's Clinical Hospital of Ingushetia, said that on January 17 power agents broke his leg while trying to move Ilez Nalgiev, the former head of the criminal police of Karabulak, to the hospital ward for prisoners.
Amerkhan Ozdoev, 40, a resident of the village of Ekazhevo, who was hospitalized with a complex ankle fracture, said that on January 17 a group of armed men, about 15 persons, rushed into their ward and ordered the patients to abandon the room.
"They wanted to move Nalgiev immediately upstairs, to the ward for prisoners, and started driving all other patients out of the ward. When I was on my way out, one of the agents pushed me I fell down and in the mess someone stepped on my injured leg. Today I made a repeated X-ray photo; and they told me that my leg was broken again and needs re-treatment; thus, I'll stay in the trauma ward for more than two weeks,"-said the victim.
According to Amerkhan Ozdoev, all the patients, not only from their ward, but of the whole department were scared with what happened. "If everything is done according to the law, why then was the operation carried out at night and not during the day?" he asked.
