Lawyer: they tried to move Nalgiev into ward for prisoners
Tonight at the hospital, armed and masked men tried to move Ilez Nalgiev, the ex-head of the criminal police of the city of Karabulak, who was wounded on January 12 by an explosion triggered near his house, into the ward for prisoners, said Aza Yandieva, Mr Nalgiev's advocate.
According to her story, tonight armed and masked persons entered the trauma ward of the hospital and used force trying to move Nalgiev up to the fourth level, where the ward for prisoners is situated.
"I received a call and immediately came to the hospital; in total I saw some 10-15 armed men there. I asked them to show the court order under which Ilez Nalgiev was to be transferred to the ward, where arrested persons take their treatment," the lawyer told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to her story, nobody could show her the document.
Aza Yandieva has noted that the senior power agent, who refused to give his name and rank, eventually agreed not to transfer her client from the trauma unit to the ward on the fourth level.
Also, the head of the group said that because an attempt had been committed on Ilez Nalgiev, for his further security, two law enforcer with submachine guns will be on duty near his ward at the hospital.
Ilez Nalgiev himself said in his conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that "there are people in the republic who want physically liquidate me," and that he seriously feared for his life.
Meanwhile, his mother - Maryam Nalgieva - believes that the armed and masked agents tried to kidnap him from the hospital.
"You can't imagine what's going on here now! The armed and masked men grabbed my son and tried to drag him out of the ward. If not for us being nearby, they would have taken him out of the hospital and killed him!" said Maryam Nalgieva.
