A policeman accused of running down four pedestrians in Volgograd region acknowledged himself guilty

A police major who brought down four pedestrians in the town of Pallasovka, Volgograd region, acknowledged himself guilty. This was reported by Andrey Fedotov, Chief of Pallasov inter-district Investigative department of Committee of Inquiry of Russia in the region.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that police major Alexander Churzin, Deputy Chief of police department for guarding public order in the town of Pallasovka, Volgograd region, brought down four pedestrians while driving a car. According to the investigation's version, the policeman was drunk.

"Deputy Chief of police department for guarding public order of Chief Directorate of the Ministry of Interior Affairs in Volgograd region was interrogated as a suspect. The policeman acknowledged his guilt and is remorseful. A charge will be brought against him in the nearest future", "Interfax" quotes Fedotov.

Today the policeman was discharged from the Ministry of Interior Affairs.

"Employees like him are out of place in law enforcement bodies", "Izvestia" quotes a statement of Press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs in Volgograd region.
