A program of involvement of disabled children in pre-school education is starting in Azerbaijan

Implementation of a project "Reform of social rights: involving disabled and physically challenged children in pre-school education" is beginning in Azerbaijan.

The project financed by European Union is carried out by Scientific production association (SPA) "Organization to promote education". The program is expected to last two years. The works will be done in the towns of Siyazan, Sumgaiyt, Bilyasuval and Lenkoran.

The priority of the project is involving disabled children in education in kindergartens. The SPA organizes courses for the employees of children's educational institutions for adaptation of disabled children, "Novosti-Azerbaijan" reports.

The principal direction of the project is development of early inclusive education in the country, the one accessible and fit for all the children's needs which enables access to education to children with special needs.

According to representatives of the SPA, the project is aimed at facilitation of social difficulties for the families having disabled children and involving such children in the national policy of the state, Аbc.az reports.
