Three persons got injured in a road accident with the participation of a police car in Kalmykia
Two policemen and an elderly man in Kalmykia got injured as a result of a road accident with the participation of a police car and a "VAZ-2106".
"In the morning of January, 10, at the fifth kilometer of Elista - Mineralnye Vody a "VAZ-2106" driven by a local resident got the car into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a car of Road Patrol Service with two traffic officers on duty", a source in the regional law enforcement bodies informed.
According to a source in law enforcement bodies, as a result of the collision both policemen and the local resident got traumas of different extent of gravity and were hospitalized, "Interfax" reports.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that this was not the first road accident in Kalmykia with the participation of a "Gazel" car. In particular, on July, 17, a passenger "Gazel" with 13 children overturned at the border of Rostov region and Kalmykia. Eight persons, six children among them, got injured as a result.
On March, 7, a passenger bus following from Makhachkala to Moscow got into a road accident in the territory of Kalmykia, two persons perished.
