Militiamen in Chechnya found a young woman who had been considered missing
A twenty-three-year-old woman who had been considered as missing was detained by militiamen on December, 26, in Gudermes, the second of the largest cities of Chechnya. The detained woman was conveyed to her relatives.
"A native of the settlement of Ishkhoy-Yurt, Gudermes district, was identified and detained by the personnel of law enforcement bodies in Tereshkova street of Gudermes. She had been in search since this November as missing", a source in the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the republic said to a reporter of "Caucasian Knot".
According to him, a wanted notice was issued concerning the woman after her relatives reported that she had left home and not come back and they had no information on her location.
According to the source, the detained woman has already been conveyed to her relatives, our interlocutor said.
The girl's relatives have not produced any comments for mass media yet.
