Another rally of nationalists prevented in Moscow
Today in Moscow, law enforcement officers and interior soldiers have prevented another nationalists' attempt to hold an unsanctioned rally in Manege Square.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that the gathering on December 25 in Manege Square was announced on nationalist websites immediately after the action on December 18 near the Ostankino Television Centre, which the organizers themselves called "a failure". Today, the rally of nationalists was appointed on 3 p.m. However, militiamen have cordoned off all the nearby streets in the vicinity of Manege Square already in the first half of the day.
The overpasses and metro station "Teatralnaya", "Alexandrovskiy Sad" and "Borovitskaya" were taken under heavy guard. The access to the square was controlled by the mounted militia and dog handlers. The territory around the square was tightly cordoned with several narrow checkpoints, where groups of militiamen stopped and checked the young people, even small groups of them.
The attempt to hold the "All-Russian Imperial Motor Rally" at midday in Moscow was also stopped by the militia. According to eyewitnesses, during the day the cars with imperial flags were stopped in various streets of Moscow by traffic militia and exposed to thorough examination and document checks.
