Explosion in Makhachkala contuses three militiamen

Three employees of the separate battalion of the road traffic patrol of the STSI (State Traffic Safety Inspectorate) of the Makhachkala UVD, who made a "Lava-149" crew, were placed in the Republic's Clinical Hospital after last night's explosion in Nikolaeva Street, said a source from the local MIA.

At 8:55 p.m. in Imam Shamil Avenue, when an UAZ of the patrol-post service was passing by, a casing-free explosive device planted at trash cans was triggered. Three militiamen addressed the hospital, but were let home almost immediately.

At 11:30 p.m. another similar casing-free bomb exploded in Nikolaeva Street at a road-patrol car; three militiamen were contused and taken to hospital, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
